The projects
This project allowed me to dive into the world of bespoke unboxing experiences for a private client. For many assignments, I built entire fictional brands from the ground up, inventing names and visual identities that captured the spirit of experiential unboxing. Bringing these imaginary brands to life challenged me to think like both a storyteller and a strategist. It was a chance to blend creative writing with design, allowing me to create marketing collateral that was both imaginative and effective.
Solare Rack Card & Box
The Solare Swimware brand was created for two different projects. The Solare box was to be featured alongside other boxes for a social media post, and its design had to compliment the natural cardboard texture of the required mockup while conveying a sense of luxury. The rack card was expected to meet specific personalization criteria, including a mention of the product purchased, information about the product, a suggested related product, and an explicit call-to-action.
Bronzd Rack Card
The purpose of this project was to encourage the customer to join the company’s rewards program by showing the value of their purchase and offering them a personalized incentive with a clear call-to-action. Design elements were carefully selected to match the brand’s clean and luxurious aesthetic.
Paper Elephant Handwritten Card
This copywriting project called for a personal touch: a handwritten note from a company CEO. The message was tailored to the customer, acknowledging their birthday and referencing a recently purchased item along with one of its benefits. The purpose was to build loyalty through a customized point utilization offer.
High Voltage Rack Card
This personalized flyer was designed to upsell a first-time customer by offering a personalized discount. Special personalization elements were requested from the client, including the audience segment, a related product, and the mention of a social influencer that introduced them to the brand. The QR code was designed to match the brand’s bold, vibrant style. This was another conceptual brand created for social media posts, and I had fun developing the High Voltage brand style, along with their tagline “where beauty sparks.”
Brevitè Rack Card
The goal of this campaign was to upsell a current beauty box subscriber. I was required to mention the length of the customer’s current subscription and reference their reason for supporting the company, as well as provide an explicit call-to-action offering a time-sensitive deal. The image was chosen to match the demographics of the subscriber, and the overall design and colour scheme was carefully selected to reflect the company’s mature, minimalistic style.
SkinDetox Bifold
I designed this bifold with with a minimalist aesthetic to match the brand’s overall style. Using a clean layout, this project focuses on providing essential information to the customer with instructions for a recently-purchased product and a limited-time offer upon registering for the company’s rewards program.
Imogen Rack Card
This black & white rack card was to promote rewards point utilization for a fashion brand. I was instructed to mention the customer’s membership status, their time in the program, the product they ordered with instructions for care, their current points balance with dollar value, and a call-to-action.
