The project
Eaterra is a recipe app designed to whisk users away on a sensory journey, blending the magic of global cuisine with a touch of everyday wonder. I wanted the brand identity to be rooted in earthy tones that evoke the rich aromas of world kitchens. With soft and sophisticated imagery, Eaterra invites curious cooks—particularly women in their 20s and 30s—to discover unique recipes and the stories behind them, making every meal a voyage of discovery.
The Eaterra logomark is inspired by a boat with sails, symbolizing the freedom of travel, and a bowl with steam, symbolizing the excitement of cooking. The earthy colour scheme is inspired by rich herbs and spices from around the world.
The Eaterra stationery suite and website were designed with the same sense of magic and thoughtfulness as the rest of the brand. Each element is meant to inspire a sense of curiosity and creativity that fits the Magician archetype. The result are brand assets that are both grounded and enchanting, reflecting Eaterra’s mission to inspire discovery and connection through global cuisine.
