For this project I drew inspiration from the iconic film scene in which Dorothy steps out from her monochromatic world into the vibrant Land of Oz. Further influence came from author Arundhati Roy’s observation that India “lives in several centuries at the same time,” which beautifully captures the country’s blend of history and modernity. Each element – from the colour palette to the typography – was selected to echo the vibrancy of a nation that refuses to be confined to a single era.
